Welcome to The Island, the central hub of the Yield Pets universe where the journey begins. The Island is your starting point for exploring, strategizing, and earning within the Yield Pets ecosystem.

On The Island, youโ€™ll find three key locations:

  • The Arena: This is where your pets will go to battle, therefore earning $yPET as rewards for their fights. Itโ€™s the heart of the competitive Play-to-Earn experience, where strategy and timing are everything.

  • The Garden: A peaceful retreat for your pets to rest and heal. After intense battles, this is where your pets will recover their HP before their next challenge. Managing time in the garden is crucial for maximizing your pets' potential in the arena.

  • The Shop: Your go-to marketplace for adopting new items, and upgrades. Here, you can spend $yPET tokens to strengthen your collection and enhance your experience.

The Island is the core of your Yield Pets adventure, where you can switch seamlessly between battling, healing, and gearing up for the next challenge. Get ready to explore, strategize, and conquer!

The Garden

HP

Every pet comes with a specific amount of HP (Health Points), which determines how long they can train. Pets lose HP and will need to recover before entering another fight.

This is where Resting plays a crucial role. When you send your pets to sleep, they will heal at a rate of 20 HP per hour, allowing them to regain their strength over time. The healing process is automatic, so the longer your pet stays in the Garden, the more HP it recovers.

Strategically managing your pets' time between training and resting is key to optimizing their performance in the Arena. You can choose to rest them fully for maximum recovery or balance partial healing with frequent training for faster earnings.

With this system, the Garden becomes an essential part of your game strategy, helping you maintain a healthy cycle of training and healing to keep your pets in peak condition.

Training for $yPET and XP

When they're not resting, pets engage in training to earn $yPET based on their hourly earning rate. Each pet earns $yPET for every hour they spend, but thereโ€™s a cost: every hour of train reduces their HP by 10. Keeping a close eye on your pets' health is essential, as youโ€™ll need to rest them in in order to to restore their HP before sending them back to training.

While training, pets also earn XP, which contribute to leveling up your pets. As your pets level up, they become stronger, they farm better and so increase their earning potential. Leveling up your pets improves their overall value and performance in battles, making it a key part of long-term strategy.

The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is where your Pets go at the end of their lifespan. They die peacefully and prosper in The Sanctuary. Dead Pets remain part of your collection as a permanent memento of your journey. The challenge is to maximize the $yPET and XP earnings within your petโ€™s limited lifespan. By carefully managing their time between training, resting, and leveling up, you can extend their effectiveness and optimize rewards before they ultimately move on to the Sanctuary.

Balancing health management, XP growth, and lifespan is crucial to getting the most out of each pet in Yield Pets.
